Small Business Week 2026 concludes with a new and special event celebrating business, community and the people who make Grande Prairie & Region a great place to live, work and invest.

A Taste of the Arts brings together business recognition, local talent and an exceptional dining experience at the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre. Guests will enjoy dinner by Chef D of Comfort Chaos Kitchen, followed by performances featuring selections from multiple Broadway shows, along with elements that highlight local arts, creativity and cultural interests.

Arts and culture play an important role in business attraction and retention. A vibrant community helps employers attract and keep talented people by creating a place where employees and their families can build connections, enjoy local experiences and feel at home. It also encourages local spending, business patronage and continued support for the entrepreneurs, organizations and venues that contribute to our regional economy.

Throughout the evening, we will also recognize businesses whose vision, perseverance and commitment have helped shape our community through the Legacy Business Award and Small Business of the Year Awards in the 1–4, 5–14 and 15+ employee categories.
